Kansas 4-H Camp takes place at Rock Springs Ranch near Junction City, Kansas. 4-H Camp is a natural extension of the classroom.
Since 1946, thousands of Kansas 4-H youth have come to Rock Springs Ranch. They unplug, explore, play, and learn the kinds of lessons that can last a lifetime. Outside of the traditional learning environment, campers grow socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. Many make friends for life. It’s also just simple, pure FUN!

Camp Dates: Beginning in 2022, Rock Springs Ranch will offer more flexible camp session opportunities for Kansas 4-H Camp. This will allow families to determine when you will attend 4-H Camp as the historical camp groupings are discontinued.
Camp Attendance: There are family camp opportunities as well as 4-H Camp sessions for youth! Visit rockspringsranch4hcamp.org to explore sessions and dates. 4-H membership is NOT required to enjoy an experience at Kansas 4-H Camp!
Camp Registration: New in 2022, you will register directly with Rock Springs Ranch. You’ll register online at rockspringsranch4hcamp.org. You will make all payments to Rock Springs Ranch and not through your local extension office. Rock Springs Ranch will communicate directly to you as your camp date approaches.
Camp Chaperone: Beginning in 2022, 21 Central District staff will not serve a chaperone role at Kansas 4-H Camp. Rock Springs Ranch will hire a full staff to support, supervise and engage camp participants during their experience at Kansas 4-H Camp!
Camp Transportation:
21 Central District does not provide transportation to and from Kansas 4-H Camp for any participants or counselors. Rock Springs 4-H Camp transportation information can be reviewed at www.rockspringsranch4hcamp.org/transportation/.
Event Scholarships:
Some counties offer event scholarship opportunities to assist youth with attending 4-H events and activities such as Kansas 4-H Camp at Rock Springs Ranch!
